It takes determination and dedication to be a winegrower in Vermont. This land is not for the faint of heart. At Shelburne Vineyard, we have been pioneers and champions of the Vermont wine region for over two decades.

In our Shelburne Vineyard Tasting Room we offer full glasses of wine, cider and wine cans, as well as curated tasting flights to explore a variety of flavors and find something you love.

TASTING FLIGHTS

Our tasting room offers a unique opportunity to indulge in the artistry of winemaking in Vermont, allowing you to savor both familiarity and novelty. Whether you prefer the comfort of a full glass pour or the thrill of discovery through tasting flights, we cater to your desires. Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of varietals, each one telling a unique story through its color, aroma, and taste.

For the adventurous souls seeking new flavors, our tasting flights are designed to awaken your palate and expand your horizons. With five thoughtfully curated flights, each showcasing a selection of wines and ciders made with Vermont grown fruit, you'll embark on a voyage of exploration.

Themed after the Vermont flora that we draw inspiration from, each flight is journey in the unique expressions of our grapes and apples.

2022 Harvest Nights

Harvest Nights is our easy-drinking blend full of fresh berry flavors & aromas plus a touch of sweetness on the palate.

The blend of grapes in Harvest Nights Red has always been a bit different from year to year, depending on how the season shakes out, but we blend with purpose to achieve a consistent flavor profile.

2023 Lake View White

This blend of Cayuga, Chardonnay, and Traminette grapes creates a delicate and lightly sweet style of wine with smooth stonefruit notes. Perfect for lighter fare, or on its own as an afternoon treat.

Pairing suggestions: mild cheddar, roast turkey, lunch dates with Mom.

2022 Rhapsody Late Harvest

Harvested in early November and made in an Ice Wine style, our very limited dessert wine has delicate floral and honeyed aromas, with a lusciously sweet yet bright palate.


Heirloom Blend Ice Cider

Our decadent Eden Ice Cider is made with over 15 heirloom apple varieties all grown in Vermont. The combination of heirloom apples creates a beautifully textured, still, sweet dessert style cider that is elevated by a backbone of bright acidity.


The Daisy

Our collection of mostly-dry white wines is perfect for summer days and white wine drinkers.

2022 IAPETUS Antecedent

Made with our 100% Vermont-grown Riesling, this wine is very dry with a juicy acidity. Nutty, buttery aromas lead to a palate that pops with lemon and a briny minerality.

2021 IAPETUS Substrata

A blend of two of our Vermont-grown white grapes, Substrata is fermented and aged in barrels. The wine is smooth and dry, with notes of toasted coconut, melon & pineapple.

2022 Louise

This light, dry white is a balanced blend of Louise Swenson, Itasca and La Crescent grapes. Aromas of white roses, pear and flint lead to a palate of lemon and chamomile.

2023 Cayuga White

This semi-dry white is a blend of Cayuga, Chardonnay & Traminette. Smooth with light sweetness, with green apple flavors on the palate that lead to a crisp finish.

2023 IAPETUS Tributary Piquette

Tributary is a light, low-alcohol, sparkling beverage made by rehydrating the skins of seven of our Vermont-grown grape varieties. Tart & refreshing, these cans are ONLY available in our Tasting Room and in retail stores around Vermont (not available for online ordering/shipping).

A naturally sparkling dry red wine, crafted in the Pet Nat style. Notes of cherries, strawberries, and raspberries. Like a vibrant plunge into a chilly berry pond, every sip is an exhilarating splash of freshness and flamboyance.

2022 IAPETUS Alluvium

A spontaneously-fermented rosé, this wine has notes of tart cherry, crushed raspberries and dragonfruit. The palate is dry and mineral, with a lemon peel brightness on the finish.

2021 IAPETUS Tectonic

Made from 100% La Crescent, our skin contact "orange" wine is delicate yet intense. It's full of apricot, peach and citrus notes, with balanced tartness.


THE LUPINE

Four dry red wines, all crafted from our Vermont-grown cold climate grape varieties.

2022 Marquette

Aged in neutral oak barrels for 8 months, our Marquette has bursts of ripe red berries with undertones of vanilla. Bright and dry, with notes of black cherry & baking spices.

2021 Petite Pearl

Light-bodied, dry and a touch smoky, this wine is primarily composed of our Petite Pearl grapes. Notes of raspberry jam and tart cherry cake, with an earthy underpinning.

2022 IAPETUS Terrane

This dry wine is made entirely with Petite Pearl and has aromas of deep black currant and smoky mocha. On the palate it's a bowl full of berries, with smooth tannins.

2020 IAPETUS Subduction

This big, bold wine is crafted from our Marquette vines and aged in oak for 8 months. Tons of cherry, plum and pomegranate, with a touch of rosemary and a long finish.


The Apple Blossom

These ciders showcase the Vermont-grown apple varieties we work with and their expression of our unique old mountain terroir.

Eden Franklin Pet Nat Cider

This Cellar Series bottling is a single-variety cider made from 100% Franklin apples - Vermont’s own cider apple variety! Bubbly and dry, Franklin has notes of mandarin, lemon and pineapple.

IAPETUS Cider with Aronia Berries

This cider is made with 100% Vermont-grown apples and infused with Aronia berries from one of our vineyard sites. Light, dry and sparkling, with aromas of raspberry tea & hibiscus.

Eden Chinin’

Playfully named for the Northeastern Vermont tradition of "machinin'" (a.k.a. snowmobiling), this dry, still cider is pressed from a variety of tannic heirloom apples. Beautiful depth of flavor and balance.

Eden Imperial 11° Rosé Cider

Be captivated by this light, dry-yet-fruity and gently fizzy rosé made with 100% Vermont heirloom apples infused with red currant juice, smoothed with a touch of ice cider.
