Shelburne Vineyard’s Ethan Joseph announces the release of the 2024 vintage of Iapetus “Protolith”, a ‘nouveau’ style red wine made without oak aging that is perfect served chilled for summer weather. The wine is making a return after the May frost of 2023 meant there were not enough grapes to produce it for that vintage year.
The launch party will include free tastes of Protolith being poured and a concert by Americana band Remember Baker from 6pm to 8.
Ethan Joseph, and fellow winegrower Tyler Mackelvey, will be there to pour samples and answer questions.
Charlotte VT-based Remember Baker plays a scrumptious blend of bluegrass, old-time, and New Orleans jazz. Consisting of five multi-instrumentalists, Remember Baker emphasizes tight vocal harmonies and energetic joyful covers and original tunes connecting to the American Roots Music tradition.
